• Welcome to Casa Horizontes Corcovado in Drake Bay, Costa Rica. We are a family-run B&B located on the Osa Peninsula, the most biologically intense place on earth!

  • Our rooms have views over the Pacific Ocean, and our house is directly adjacent to the jungle. We often see monkeys, sloths, Scarlet Macaws, and many species of birds right from our deck!
We also have wifi available throughout the whole house.

  • Drake Bay is on the Osa Peninsula of Costa Rica, home to Corcovado National Park. Corcovado is full of old growth forest and incredible wildlife including tapirs, puma, jaguar, monkeys, sloths, and hundreds of bird species. The rainforest here has been compared to the Amazon. We can provide expert advice on visiting the park and seeing wildlife.

  • We provide three meals a day for our guests at Casa Horizontes. Each of your meals is prepared with love and dedication. We have an organic garden in our back yard that provides many of our vegetables, and we have access to fresh seafood. We also provide bagged lunches for our guests who are going on tours. Due to the remote location of Drake Bay we try to produce as much as we can for our guests.

  • We offer assistance in organizing many tours in the area. From Casa Horizontes you can easily reach: Corcovado National Park, Caño Island Reserve, Waterfall Tours, Bird Watching Tours, Sport Fishing, Kayak Tours, Night Hikes, Horseback Riding, Canopy Tours, Whale and Dolphin Tours, Mangrove Tours, Spa and Massages, Snorkeling, Diving, and incredible hiking.

  • "Pedro came down to the beach, when we arrived by boat from Sierpe, to meet us and collect our luggage to take it up to the house. We walked the short path behind the school up to the house where Yammi was waiting with a welcome drink of her famous juice and her renowned cinnamon cakes. "

  • "I refer to their deck as the "million dollar view", it is breathtaking, surrounded on three sides by the garden and jungle, with a view overlooking the ocean. If I were to change anything about our stay it would be to stay there longer. From our room we had (almost) daily visits from our Toucan, who on our last day there brought along a couple friends. We also saw monkeys right outside our window on four of the seven days we were there. My son was ecstatic as they were in the tree just 2 meters from our window. We also saw green parrots and scarlet macaws one day when we came home early to nap. From the deck we saw our monkeys, an iguana atop a tree, an opossum (one evening), toucans, macaws, humming birds, beautiful red birds, lizards and fireflies at night. It was magical. I could have spent entire days on the deck looking out at the ocean. "

  • "It is actually very hard to write a review of Casa Horizontes without seeming to exaggerate. This is truly a gem. The rooms were comfortable, airy and bright. We stayed in an upstairs loft with windows on three sides, and were lulled to sleep by the sound of surf and jungle noises. "

  • "Yami is an excellent cook; I would compare her dishes with anything on offer at a high-end restaurant - - the menu was varied and the juice fresh squeezed! I was pleased to stay a little off the beaten path (not in the tourist enclave in the tiny town up the road) but in a serene spot within a close distance of the beach. Staying at Casa Horizontes was an incredible experience I'll enjoy remembering throughout the winter months and beyond! "

  • "We left after 2 nights wishing we had booked our entire 3 weeks here. Highly recommended. "
